The Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA) is the statewide professional membership organization representing Connecticut licensed dentists. Established in 1864, CSDA is one of the longer-standing dental associations in the country and is a constituent society of the American Dental Association, giving members access to both state-level resources and the ADA's national programs and advocacy infrastructure.

2026 legislative results
- HB 5514 (signed into law, effective October 1, 2026) — the result of two years of CSDA advocacy. Authorizes trained dentists to perform limited cosmetic injections, allows dental assistants to take radiographs under general supervision, and adds two new mandatory CE topic options. CSDA developed hands-on Botox and dermal filler certification courses to help members meet the law's training requirement.
- Veterans Dental Care Access Program (HB 5406/5413) — legislation expanding dental care access for veterans, passed in the 2026 session.
- Water fluoridation preservation law (2025) — CSDA-supported legislation signed by Governor Lamont in July 2025 requiring Connecticut to preserve existing water fluoridation standards; CSDA also submitted formal comments to the EPA on fluoridation.
