Rhode Island Dental Association

The Rhode Island Dental Association (RIDA), affiliated with the American Dental Association, is the professional membership organization for Rhode Island dentists. RIDA describes its mission as improving the dental health of the public and promoting the art and science of dentistry, and serves as the public's main source of information on oral health in the state.

Member benefits and programs

• Advocacy — local, state, and federal political advocacy on behalf of Rhode Island dentists, including a dedicated RIDA Political Action Committee
• Continuing education — CE lectures and events, including CE credit request processing, to help members meet Board renewal requirements
• Practice resources — marketing services, endorsed-partner discounts, and a member directory
• Public resources — a "Find a Dentist" tool and oral health education for the public
• RI Dental Foundation Fund — supports charitable dental-access initiatives such as the RI Mission of Mercy

RIDA members commit to the Association's ethical code and practice standards. Local component dental societies operate under RIDA across the state.
